Terms and conditions

The current terms and conditions of the site (known henceforward as « T+C ») apply for each visit or use of the website with the address: https://ecole-gerbert-aurillac.fr/ (« Site »).

By accessing and using the Site, every visitor accepts the T+C and commits to respect them. The Ecole Gerbert d’Aurillac reserves the right to change or update the T+C at any time and without forewarning. The version of T+C which applies is that of the day of the visit.

The Site is regularly updated. In the same way, the legal notice, T+C and confidentiality policy can be changed at any time : it is the user’s responsibility to refer as often as possible to them to be aware of them.

Accessing and using the Site are reserved for the user’s strictly personal use. The user commits to not using the Site and the information and the data on it for commercial, political, marketing purposes and for any form of commercial solicitation.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES PROVIDED

The services proposed on the Site are not the same as those of an online shop. The Site does not sell products or services, and neither does it allow a valid enrolment for the school. The User cannot order nor reserve a place in a class, can neither enrol a child, nor have information about how the enrolment process is progressing. The Site’s purpose is to present the School’s project and activities in a concise way. All the information given on the Site is for reference only, is not exhaustive and may change.

The School makes every effort to keep the Site up-to-date. However, visitors to the Site who wish to have more detailed information are invited to contact the School directly.

RESPONSIBILITY

All data and computer or digital files recorded in the computer infrastructure of the Site serve to prove the facts concerning the communication between the School and the User.

The Ecole Gerbert d’Aurillac cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs by any visitor to the Site, by accessing the Site and using it or not being able to or only partly being able to access the Site, in particular when there is a technical malfunction and malicious software on the Site, or due to improper use by the visitor.

In any event, the Ecole Gerbert d’Aurillac for whatever reason cannot be held liable after a period of six (6) months from the moment the damage occurred.

In any event, any visitor to the Site declares that they know the characteristics and limits of the Internet, in particular its technical performance, time spent on the Site for reference purposes, asking questions or transferring data and the security risks carried with such communication.

That the Ecole Gerbert d’Aurillac may not start legal proceeding as soon as it is aware of such unauthorized use does not mean that it accepts it and does not mean that it will not engage in legal proceedings.


APPLICABLE LAW

Any dispute concerning the use of the site is subject to French law. If an amicable solution cannot be found, the relevant courts will have exclusive jurisdiction.

An answer will be sent during the month following receipt of the request. This time frame of a month may be extended to two months if the complexity of the request and/or the number of requests requires so.
